Music Therapy is a research-based holistic health profession which uses targeted music techniques to achieve non-music related therapeutic goals for patients and clients of all ages and backgrounds. Music Therapists work in many diverse settings, including schools, hospitals, psychiatric facilities, Adult Day centers, nursing homes, and hospices.
Breana has been a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with the Certification Board of Music Therapists since 2015, completing her Bachelor's degree at Florida State University. She completed her six-month clinical internship at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida, assisting patients and families in the end-of-life journey. She's also worked with teens, children with developmental disabilities, and the elderly.
